The Free Clinic of Simi Valley is a non-profit organization that provides medical care, counseling, dental services, legal guidance, and ophthalmology services to individuals and families in need. They do not receive payments from private or federally funded insurances and are funded entirely by grants and donations.

The Liu Fang Memorial Scholarship was established to provide scholarships to women pursuing college or university degrees in physics, engineering or mathematics in honor of the memory of Liu Fang. A foundation was created to celebrate Liu Fang’s desire to learn, her curiosity about the world, her heritage, and her love of family.

Pacoima Beautiful (PB) was founded in 1996 by five relentless mothers who became distraught by the unpleasant sight of trash and toxic smells they endured while walking their young children to school. Today Pacoima Beautiful is the only environmental justice organization in the Northeast San Fernando Valley striving for community improvement. They are a dedicated team of leaders, planners, organizers, health promoters and advocates for a healthier and safer Northeast San Fernando Valley.

The Ventura County Search and Rescue, East Valley Team (VCSAR3) operates under the authority of the Sheriff and is comprised of highly dedicated and skilled volunteers who respond to public safety and wilderness emergencies throughout Ventura County and the State of California. They are on call 24 hours a day and provide their services free of charge to anyone needing help.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states and in more than 70 countries around the world. Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat works toward this vision by building and improving homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of a decent and affordable place to live.

Anna’s Pals
Anna’s Pals donates funds to childhood cancer research, as well as programs to improve the quality of life for hospitalized children and their families.

To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $7 billion to support more than 170 children’s hospitals. These donations fund research and training, purchase equipment and pay for uncompensated care. Our donation supports Boston Children’s Hospital.

Without adequate and appropriate clothing, children face unfair barriers and participate in life on an unequal playing field. Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. We supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities.

Family and Community Resources (FCR) provides a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all survivors of trauma, including those impacted by domestic and sexual violence, substance abuse, bereavement, and other causes. FCR offers services consistent with their values of choice, acceptance, hope, and dignity with the goal of helping children and adults along their path to safety, health, and well-being.

Marlborough Community Cupboard is a direct service program of the United Way of Tri-County. They provide groceries and produce, gently used clothing, and utility assistance to Marlborough residents. Seasonal programs including “Tools for School” (backpacks filled with school supplies), “Feed-A-Family” (complete turkey dinner for Thanksgiving), and “Hope for the Holidays” (toys for children).

Circle of Concern
Circle of Concern is first and foremost a food pantry, but also offers financial support, scholarships, job mentoring, children’s programs and holiday events. Their goal is to provide resources that empower individuals to become self-sufficient.

Dan Devereaux Memorial Trust benefits minority and “at risk” kids in the metro St. Louis area by providing education and life skills opportunities that will give these children a chance to receive a good basic education, making it possible for them to enter post-secondary education or secure employment offering more than a minimum wage.
Forest Park Forever
Forest Park Forever works in partnership with the City of St. Louis and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry to restore, maintain and sustain Forest Park, as one of America’s great urban parks for a diverse community of visitors to enjoy. They help manage restoration projects, deliver experiential educational opportunities, and provide information and guides for the Park’s 13 million annual visitors.

Denton Freedom House
Denton Freedom House provides a residential treatment program for alcohol/substance abuse and operates a food pantry. At their food pantry, no one is turned away and they do not put restrictions on the frequency in which a family can receive food.

Mobile Loaves & Fishes serves the homeless by delivering food, clothing, hygiene products, and other life-sustaining items where needed most. In addition, their Community First! Village project is a master-planned community that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for the chronically homeless in Central Texas.
